When using the "Publish Due reminders as a calendar", items that are overdue do not sync.

When using the "Publish Due reminders as a calendar", items that are overdue do not sync.

How would that be helpful? Once you've missed the due date, why do you want to see it in a calendar? At that point, a simple list of overdue items seems like a more effective interface, if the goal is to finish any overdue items immediately.
