Hide File Extension in File Name? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I've searched high and low for this, but can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Is it possible to suppress or turn off the display of the .oo3 extension in file names in Omni Outliner? I'd like to be able to show the file name in the footer, but without the .oo3 extension.

Thanks!

You can set an outline title that's different from the file name which would allow you to do this. Go to View -> Show Outline Title -> Always, erase what's there and type in the file name without the extension. What you type there will then be used in the header or footer as the document title (document name is the file name).
