Searching through the OO applescript dictionary but can't find a way to attach a file to a cell - as in the menu command edit>attach file...
Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks Jeffrey

If I remember correctly, the AppleScript library doesn't support adding/manipulating attachments.
(I'm not on the OmniOutliner team, so you may want to send email to the support ninjas; they would know for sure whether that's the case and may be able to explain why it's set up that way.)
