Sync Server not Starting Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
My iPad and MacBook Pro have synced OF OK since the upgrade to Lion, however I am now getting a message to say that Sync Server is not starting. I have pressed the reset button in the Prefs/Syncing page and rebooted the Mac and reset the iPad to no avail.

Is there anything that I have missed out before contacting the Support Ninjas?

Thanks a lot

Andy

I am using the latest version of OF on both devices (MBP15 4GB RAM - iPad 3G v1)

I seem to remember two of the support ninjas discussing something along these lines last week, but I can't remember the specifics. If you send email, though, we'll be happy to help.

(I want to say it was a security certificate problem of some sort, related to the timezone settings, maybe?)

Restored from a backup. Still didn't work.

Moved laptop and iPad to another location (and wifi router). the app suddenly started working. - how odd!
