"Add a setting" seems attractive at first glance, but you have to keep in mind that customers only want the settings they personally care about. All the other settings in the app just get in the way and make the software less useful. In our experience, customers don't want to wade through a bunch of choices they don't care about.

Settings absolutely make sense when you have a number of roughly equally sized groups of folks that want to do something differently. We don't think that's the case here...

We think we can come up with something - doesn't mean we've already done so. :-)
