I accidently posted this in the Omniweb General board also.

Hi
I'm new to Omni Outliner. Are there templates available for generating documents in specific formats? I am mostly interested in AP (American Psychiatric) format for academic papers. If there are no templates are there ways to save my formats once I build them?
Thanks
MFL

Set up the format as you want it (font, styles for the levels etc) and then File>Save As Template...

When you want to use a particular template, select File>New from Template>

(if this isn't present in OmniOutliner it could be a OmniOutliner Pro only feature).

Templates are an OOPro feature.

Actually, you can use templates with the standard version. The pro version just gives you easier access to saving and using them. In the standard version you can do Save As to a OO3 template and then to use it you'll need to double-click or drag the template to OO to use it.
