I just recently ran into an error where every time I level resources the project goes into an infinite loop eating 100% of 1 processor ... then is non responsive until the crash reporter shows up. Any ideas on how to fix this?

If you haven't already done so, use Help->Send Feedback to send a copy of your document to the support ninjas, along with a description of what you do to cause the problem. It will remove any sensitive information from the document before sending it (you can verify this for yourself easily).
