How to completely reset iCal sync Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi folks,
I came to the situation that I need to reset iCal and it's synchronization and found that it's not easy. Below is a guide how to do it.

a] unregister all computers from .Mac
b] rm -rf ~/Library/{Caches,Caches/Metadata,Preferences,Application\ Support}/*iCal*
c] rm -rf ~/Library/Calendars
d] start iSync, open Preferences window and click Reset Sync History button

wow - after sifting through a few convoluted methods posted on the net - you're awesome - your 4 step process did make it simple!
This is easier:

/System/Library/Frameworks/SyncServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources/ full
<<</System/Library/Frameworks/SyncServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources/ full >>>

It may be easier, but it didn't work.

[Command not found]

I wonder if that solution is tied to the OS version. I'm on Tiger/Intel.

Robert's collection of spells got rid of my phantom scheduling entries. Thanks,
