I bought the basic version of OO, but am now wondering if there are useful export options on the Pro version, which I lack. Does Pro export more readily to Word? I hadn't picked up on that distinction from looking at the feature comparisons.

Try out the demo. I think it's the only way to be sure. Anyway, the Omni folks have excellent upgrade paths form standard to pro... :-)

OO3 Pro now exports to Word's docx format which is significantly better than using any other options. It can also be imported into Pages. But as vegaz mentioned, you can try out the demo and see for yourself. Let me know if have any other questions.
