Idea: Workspaces Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
It would be fantastic for users to be able to program "workspaces"— which would give the ability to quickly jump to views that are frequently used.

For example, mine might be:

F1= Waiting For view mode context (filter ribbon= alphabetical)
F2= Waiting For and Agenda with John (filter ribbon= sorted by context)
F3= Flagged and Due Today
F4= Email context
F5= All Work Projects expanded


I suppose (and hope) this would be possible using applescript. If this were so, then you could fire these with quicksilver.
 
We're calling this feature Perspectives, and it's planned for 1.0.

You guys are truly amazing. We have been waiting and hoping for OmniFocus for a long time— even before it had a name. So far, everything is better than I hoped for and it promises to get even better. I am truly excited for the release of 1.0. Keep up the great work!

Perspectives feature is good. Even with the limited functionality in place I can see it being something I'd use a lot.
