Do the tutorial in the built-in help —*Tutorial Step 10: Create Hammock Tasks shows you how to create hammock tasks.

OK, here's how you do it:
Create the dependency FROM the last task TO the hammock. If you look closely at the screenshot in the tutorial you can see the arrowheads and that should make it clear.
