Hi there
I love Ommnigraffle and the possibility to draw a graph form its hierarchy using the structure to add idea
Have you considered the treemap layout ?: it is also a hierarchical layout
I would really love to brainstorm using this layout : advantage all the information always fit on the page
(see http://www.cs.umd.edu/hcil/treemap-history/)
But I don't know if graphviz can do this

Tinderbox, of course, already supports brainstorming in treemaps and outlines.

Jean-Luc - sorry for the lack of response; the support ninjas and other folks at Omni read the forums when they're able, but they not always able to do so.

I don't think OmniGraffle supports this layout type, but there are other folks with much greater knowledge of the app than I possess. If you shoot an email over to the support ninjas - "send feedback" under the OG help menu - you'll get a guaranteed response from those folks.
