First day of the week? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
So, I set the first day of the week to be Monday, in Preferences. Yet, whenever I set up the date for a task, the calendar always shows the week starting on a Sunday.

Am I missing something? Is this a bug? Or else...

Thanks,
Simon

I'm not sure that the setting you mention is supposed to control the display of the week in Apple's calendar widget. However, according to the manual, that setting is supposed to change the interpretation of things like "next week" in a date field, and yet as far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to do anything differently no matter what value I use. Looks like at least one bug there! I'll file a report, but you should do so also with Help->Send Feedback about your wish to have the calendar widget show the first day of the week as set in the preferences.

It's been discussed before and the Omni folks are aware of it. It came up again with the first of the 1.6 SP releases and was discussed in this thread.
