Sync with iCal problems Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I can't be the only one having problems with the iCal sync feature of OF. Every time I get it set up, the first time, it syncs fine with iCal. But, after I start to mark items as complete, it syncs them back from iCal as incomplete. So, I keep getting these duplicate uncompleted tasks in OF. If I delete them, they come back next time I sync. The only way I can find to get rid of them is to reset Sync services. Since I'm using SpanningSync also, that's not a great option.

Anyone else found a better way to work through this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I am having the same problem and I am afraid to sync now. I was only using iCal as a type of archive: I could go back to any day and see what tasks were done (or search to find out what day I DID finish a task). Very nice, since this is not easy to do in OF.
But the last time I synced I had multiple copies of completed tasks in OF, marked as incomplete.
I am worried that re-setting sync would cause problems with other items I sync.
Sorry I can only commiserate with you. Maybe someone else has some answers.
