Syncing Leopard and Tiger Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I'm running the latest OF Sneaky Peek on my desktop Mac (running Leopard), and I just installed the same OF SP on my iBook (running Tiger).

The full sync of desktop -> MobileMe -> went smoothly. Likewise, some simple action creation and modification on both Macs synced fine.

Is there anything I should aware of when running OmniFocus on two different OS X releases?

I haven't explicitly tried that myself, but thinking through everything involved, I don't anticipate any problems. (yes, those are dreadfully famous last words.)

As with any adventure into Betaland, a double-check that you do in fact have a recent backup on your desktop is probably worthwhile.

I've been syncing between 2 machines running Tiger on both plus Leopard on 1. The only problem I've noticed since the debut of the big batch of sync fixes that were the raison d'etre for iPhone OmniFocus 1.0.3 has been the problem Lizard reports about infrequent smooshing of the database. As I don't have an iPhone in the mix, that's not much of a problem at all.
