Kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel, but just in case it's helpful: both the account names and passwords used during the sync process are usually case-sensitive on the server side. (iDisk, our server, etc.) We sometimes see folks enter their sync info into OmniFocus differently-cased than the account or password on the server itself, which will prevent syncing. Contacting the support ninjas really is the best thing to do - we can help you activate some additional logging that will help determine exactly what's happening during your syncs. That logging can occasionally reveal info folks don't want to post to the forums, though. (Like email addresses, for example.)
