When a week isn't a week Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I'm using OmniPlan 1.1.2 and have a project's default calendar to use a work week of 7 days (instead of the usual M-F 5 days). However, when I assign effort of 5 days to a task, it becomes 1w instead of staying at 5d. Similarly, a task that is planned for a calendar week (say, Thursday to Thursday) shows up as consuming more than a week.

I'd appreciate any advice how to reconcile the schedule with the effort data.

That's in the Project: Formatting inspector. Specifically, you can either make your project have 56 hours per work week (8 per day * 7 days), or you can turn off display of weeks of duration entirely (if you'd prefer to see, say, "8d" rather than "1w 1d").

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Greg, that solved my problem.
