Error: OmniFocus could not open files in the "Document" format Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Anyone see this:
I did a complete clean install of Mavericks, all other Omni applications are working fine.. but OF is not.
A popup screen comes:

“OmniFocus.ofocus.sb-708fa0a1-jv5usc” could not be handled because OmniFocus cannot open files in the “Document” format.

When I try to start OF. No Main Window.. menubar is there. can set license ect.. access preferences.. but no main window.

I am trying to install 1.10.5 (v77.90.21 r196377).

I have sent in a help ticket.. no response yet.

any here have any ideas?

Running new mac book pro..

Thanks for any help

Guy

[I've posted this previously, but on a less obvious thread]

We’ve seen a few similar reports and are still trying to get to the bottom of the error message.

Please try the following:

(1) Quit OmniFocus
(2) Download and unzip this OmniFocus file.
(3) Open Finder, click Go > Go to Folder and paste the following path before clicking 'Go':

~/Library/Application Support/

(4) If there is currently an “OmniFocus” folder in your Application Support folder drag it to the Desktop of Trash
(5) Place that OmniFocus file linked above into your Application Support folder
(6) Launch OmniFocus. You should now see the welcome database.

This fixed the problem! Thanks Omni!
