how to change tracking??? - The Omni Group Forums

i can't figure out how to change the tracking on text in omnigraffle. i want to increase the spacing between letters in a text object.

i deselect kerning, then the tracking entry box is activated, but if i try to enter a figure in there, it just overwrites the text or text object which was selected.

please advise!
