Is there a way to retain the URL when copying weblinks into omnifocus

I just put a load of them into "text Edit" (they retained their formatting)

but when i copied these to omnifocus the web link URL was lost

Thank You for ANY help offered

The notes field of a task will retain weblinks.

If you paste them into the note field, I believe you'll get the results you're looking for.

Brilliant It worked a treat!

Thanks very much for your help

It also served to solve another issue (namely embedding pictures into O.focus)
It had been hit & miss for me before that (but the notes panel makes sense now)

for those of you who don't know,
1) drag the picture into the notes panel (Hold down alt key at the same time)
2) check picture has been embedded by:- "right click" "reveal in finder" (if it's showing the location as say "desktop" then it's not embedded (you haven't put it in notes column).
a successful embedding should show a string of letters & numbers when you get info/reveal in finder e.g. d220038d0957a6bf50fe5300933b7f24f1
