Re: Actions must be performed in order Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
HI

I would like to know exactly how this setting under
Project actually works?
The Setting is
Actions must be performed in order

ie does it mean that each action in order from first (top)
in the project list has to be completed first before the
second in the list?

If this is the case will it stop you from completing one
further down the list?

Thanks
Rodney

That's just how sequential projects (as opposed to parallel ones) are shown in the inspector.

In a sequential project only the first incomplete action appears in the Available Actions filter. The remaining incomplete actions appear in the Remaining Actions filter.

For a parallel project the first incomplete action appears in the Next Actions filter and all incomplete actions appear in the Available Actions filter.

Nope, you can always check off any action.

You've got the basic idea, Dragon. More precisely, the setting makes only the topmost action for that project visible when viewing "Next" or "Available" actions.

(When viewing "All" or "Remaining" actions, the other actions for that project will also appear. They will be light gray, but you can mark them as completed if you want.)
