New Features - Nice -- Now HOW Do We Use Them!!! Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I like the description of the new features in iPhone OmniFocus version 1.0.2. How about telling us how to use them?

How does one change the hierarchy? How does one change and action to a project?

Maynard G Krebs.

Here's what I did:
Turn an action into a Project:
1. Select the action you want to turn into a Project.
2. Click on the icon along the bottom on the far right (looks like a folder with an arrow in it).
3. A new screen opens. The bottom button says "Make the Action into a Project".
4. Click the button.
5. The Action is now a Project.

To Turn a Project into an action:
1. Select Projects from the main screen.
2. Click on the Edit button on the top right of the screen.
3. Select the Project that you want to turn into an action.
4. Click on the icon along the bottom on the far right (looks like a folder with an arrow in it).
5. A new screen opens. The bottom button says "Make the Project into a Action".
6. Click the button.
7. The Action is now a Project.

Hope this helps!

Thanks. That takes care of it. My point was simply, why does this have to be a game of hide and go seek?

Thanks much,

MGK

Cool! The only thing missing is the ability to move sub-actions out from "within" (under) an action to be a sibling next to the parent action in the same project.
