Hi, I'm using OmniFocus build v74.0.96523, Date 2007-12-28 22:09:59 -0800

I've been using OmniFocus for a while, and haven't had a problem with it until now. I just updated, and added a folder using the icons on the bottom left. I added a one project with a few items below it.

I then closed the window and quit the program. I brought it back up, and everything new I typed was gone. (The original info in the document was there still). I tried this several times with the same results.

Now, I swear I've done this before, but I might be wrong. Do I have to do an explicit save before closing the window?

Another thing I've tried:

I have three icons on the left: Inbox, Library and my own folder with items in it.

I highlight "inbox", click on the +folder icon at the bottom, type in a name for the new folder that appears. I then try and move that folder (which is currently in fourth position) to the third position by putting it between "Library" and the folder I already had. I get the little arrow on the extreme left between those two folders, and drop my new folder. Poof. It disappears, and it's not anywhere that I can find it.

Any chance you have a view bar setting that is hiding things? Try changing the left-most lozenge to show All Projects and see if they appear.

That did it. Thanks. It really was confusing, though. Guess I haven't gotten the complete "zen" of this thing yet.
