OF & the new iOS Reminders API Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
With the upcoming iOS 6 it will become possible to make a limited sync with the iOS Reminders database. Limited because the database will probably only support the isssues supported in the Reminders database. Mainly Due Date and no Start Date, Project and Context. But with this limited support, tasks should sync with iCloud and MS Exchange Server. Making it possible to see tasks as tasks in various calendars supporting these sync servers, including the Outlook for Windows. And to mark these tasks as Done.

But if these Reminder tasks are used directly only with the attributes that are part of the Reminders app. Consequently, only a proper sync should be implemented, and it should be implemented in such a way that it can be set to take place on one device only. Nor circular syncs!

I hope OmniGroup will implement such a sync. BTW, I also hope for a proper sync of OmniPlan and OmniFocus tasks ...
