I see your point. Basecamp just as web interface isn't the best option. It's great if you're working in a team or need to update customers. But I like their simplistic approach and don't think integrating another project/task management system would solve the problem. Integrations will always result in compromises. I hope being able to bring out a better alternative, soon.
