I add an action to my Inbox, then decide it should be a project. I believe I saw a video reference to typing command-return to promote it.
I can't find it in the doc, and it isn't working for me. Is there a way to do this?

If you outdent a task enough (see in the menu under Edit > Outlining) it will be promoted to project-hood.

You can also drag the item from your inbox to your project list on the right.
