question on location Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
If a location has been assigned to a context or task, ie a shopping list, will OF automatically remind you of it when you get near that location or do you have to hit the locator button each time? I want to have it open and when I walk into my office my tasks come up. Thanks for the help!

You'll have to press the locator button to get an up-to-date check of what's near you.

We're kind of limited by the constraints of the device. If OmniFocus isn't running, we can't get any kind of notification from the OS when you approach one of your locations. And even if OmniFocus is running, we don't want to do this kind of polling of your location that would drain your battery.
