When I connect a line to magnet and then move the object with the magnet then the line slides around the object perimeter. How do I fix it to that magnet and only that magnet?

don't use bezier lines, use orthogonal (not what I want to see, though)

You can connect any line regardless of type directly to a magnet, it may be hard to see but the magnet on the shape will "throb" with the highlight color instead of the shape itself.
Hope that helps,

Could not get that to work before, even with Show Magnets on and watching for the throbbing, but it seems to be OK today.
