The page requires a valid SSL client certificate Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi,

when accessing the Sap Development network http://sdn.sap.com I get the error The page requires a valid SSL client certificate. Any ideas? I have the same problem with Safari, but not with Firefox.

You should review the help files when SSL window pops up. I can't post "step by step" instructions how to install a root/client certificate to OS X keychain app. Risky. q

Go there with Safari, click "?" (help) when it pops up.

It can be fixed very easy, just read instructions.

Thanks. This worked for Safari, but not for Omniweb. In Omniweb I get the error message:

Cannot Load Address

Stopped loading <https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/>: can’t connect to host

My mistake it works now. There was a littlesnitch rule that was blocking https access.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction regarding the installation of the certificate. This is not all that intuitive. The problem first appeared after I install a Twaite personal email certificate.
