save as pdf not implemented Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
When will "Save as PDF..." return? (AKA, option-command-s)

Saving a web page as a PDF under the Print dialog sheet creates a virtual printout based on my printer specs. Unfortunately, long pages end up as multi-page PDFs. The original "Save as PDF..." saves an entire web page as a single-page PDF.

I just tried it to see if anything has been implemented: the File menu item doesn't change to indicate that it will do anything, but pressing command-option-shift-s does give you a save dialogue and the output is a PDF. However, it only partially works as the background and some other images were missing, but you do get a single page PDF (with live links, yay!).

Thanks! The idea didn't come to me to try pressing EVERY modifier key... ack!
