Noob Question - shadows Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Can (how can) one make a shape with a soft (shadow) edge.
That is
- draw a shape
- apply shadow
- delete shape leave shadow.
- use shadow as object??

Regards

FC

Does this do what you want:

Draw the shape (say with the Bezier tool) and turn on a shadow in the inspector (if it's not on already).
In the stroke inspector, set the stroke to none.
You'll be left with just a shadow outline.

This is just a shadow outline. If you want something like a full object with `soft' edges, maybe you can use the radial blend?
