OO needs filters - and here's why Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
What's shocking to me is that they built OmniFocus originally from OmniOutliner (remember Kinkless GTD?), and then tremendously improved it by adding (among other things) Perspectives.

Surely, if anyone would know how to add Perspectives to OmniOutliner without a whole lot of trouble it's the Omni Group.

I haven't a clue why they haven't done this. But I know that the lack of this capability is why I'm using OmniOutliner FAR less than I was using Ecco - years after it was discontinued.

With filters - or Perspectives - OmniOutliner would be my indispensable app. And I'm willing to bet a lot of people would find myriad uses for this app that they cannot today.

Come on, Omni Group. You can do this. You'll be glad you did.
