Importing mpp Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi, I am trying OmniPlan in cooperation with Project 2003. I definitely need importing and exporting plans to MS project.
But I found that its not so easy :-)
Please take a look on these pictures. Duration on task 3 is 15days in original mpp. After importing mpp into OmniPlan it is only 10days according Effort value. Also date has changed from 20 of february to 13 of february. There are also 36 violations. Could you help me if there is another procedure for correct import and export or it is a bug ?

Perhaps OmniPlan thinks you are padding the schedule too much :)

I would use Help->Send Feedback from within OmniPlan to send a copy of the original MPP file and the imported version directly to the developers and support staff. With a US holiday tomorrow, you may not hear anything back for a few days.
