If you customise the toolbar of Activity Monitor, you can add a Sample button which makes it easier to do and misses out the Inspect step:

I launched (finally found this!), tried couple of sites, got into general tab, made it default browser.
Also btw, it should come with setting "check for updates daily" as it is supposed to be alpha ;)

I did install sp7 on 04/27/2006. It didn't crash til now. I don't use other browsers. Always sp7 :)
