In the settings, I can set the default time for due dates. But is it possible to set the default time for start dates as well, somehow?

I tend to use the start date feature quite a lot, and unless I remember to change the default start time to something like 9am I'm woken up at midnight because my iPhone tells me it's time to start Getting Things Done..
