Import folders? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I have a GTD style hierarchy of project folders, alphabetized with dozens of projects on my HD. Have this setup pre-Ominfocus so now I'm using both which is a waste of time in some ways but still useful for me in organizing project files. But I was hoping to figure out a quick way - and was wondering if there is a simple way to import to folder structure and project folders into OF as projects rather than doing it manually?

TIA
Paul

How fluent are you with terminal.app, find, awk, and grep?

Edit: You could create a script that enumerates all your Project names based on that filesystem and then an Applescript to import those and create the appropriate projects.

I use basic SSH from the command line to our remote linux servers regularly but not much on my mac. I haven't done Applescript at all but would love to give it a shot if you have something in mind?
