OminFocus 1.5 hangs - never gets past backing up the existing database.

I tried twice to use the old version (1.02) to open the existing database and 'rebuild it,' but that locked up also.

Anyone experience this? Any tips?

If you've built up a lot of transactions in 1.0, it can take a long time (i.e., more than a few minutes) to rewrite them all into one new transaction using the new format—which is what the upgrade process does.

My advice is to just give it more time, letting it run in the background while you work on other things.

Hmm. That must be the case. This time it opened in a flash w/1.5.
