I am trying to display the Greek letter Psi in a text box. It is usually the letter 'Y' under the Symbol font (at least in Microsoft products). I was expecting to get the Greek letter Psi from the Symbol font, but I just get a regular 'Y'. Could someone help?

The advice above no longer works as of 10.8.
However there is a very nice free stencil I found over at Graffletopia that both looks beautiful and works perfectly. I don't know if they allow links here, but if you google for "graffletopia math symbols" you will find it right away.
