How to have more than one next action per project? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Okay, I just bought OmniFocus and I'm really beginning to get into some of the details of the software.

One area that I am having trouble understanding is how you view parallel or sequential project actions on context lists.

As per David Allen's description, if a project has "parallel" actions then all of those actions can be considered "next" actions, as long as their completion is NOT dependent on prior actions.

Because I list actions on projects that are future actions I like to use the perspective to only see next actions when viewing my context lists and not see all of the future planning I've recorded. The problem is that, I would like to see all of my parallel actions when I do this, not just the next action thats first on the list.

How should I go about this? Thanks!

Set your perspective's availability filter to available. All uncompleted actions not blocked by another setting (future start date, sequential project/action group status, et al. will be displayed.
