Not only did I get the chance to download my first SP this morning (6) but the moment I booted it up it told me about SP7.

WHOO HOO!!!!

So far..
- Fast. Seems as fast as Safari
- CSS visited links colors a little off
- All the Omni goodness

A nice upgrade.

Yes, noticeably quicker than 5.1.3. I'm a happy man...

Doesn't crash. I was trying for an hour. Nothing, it's stable on my PB :-)

I'm very impressed with SP7 - really fast and (so far) really stable too. OmniWeb has become my default browser again :).

sp 7 is fast but not with multi tabs when Open in New tabs a bookmark's folder : with a folder containing 15 bookmarks, it's almost immediate with Safari but take 15-20 s with OW.

Important edit : the time I give is the time for the first tab to be completely loaded.

Really? I cannot believe that Safari opens 15 URLs almost immediately. It depends on the connection speed, doesn't it :confused:

ADSL 2+ is your friend !

I confirm : Safari -> 1s/2s. OW -> 15s/20s.

Hi myckmack

I have 2000 Kbps DSL downstream. And I'd like to test it in Safari 2.0.1, but I cannot find the command that allows to open 15 URLs in 15 tabs in Safari, as OW does (can open only multiple RSS in Safari). How can I open 15 URLs in Safari at the same time?

You need to have a bookmark folder in e.g. your Favourites bar and choose the "Open in Tabs" option:
