Someone trying to hack into my OF sneek peek account Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I just received a message from the OG's stating that someone has tried to log into my account 5 times unsuccessfully. They did provide the IP address of the person trying to get in, using IP lookup I was able to track them down. (I will be calling their abuse hotline)

Has anyne else received messages like this?

Yeah, me too from 74.53.243.34 (Chicago). Perhaps there is a 'bot that scans the group looking for login's and then trying simple passwords? I can't imagine why anyone else would want to hack into a forum!

Very strange.

Same IP for me. I was under the impression that they were trying to hack into our Sneaky Peek accounts so they could get their grimey paws on an unauthorized version of OF... BASTARDS! ;P

I had the same notice of someone with the same IP address trying to access my account as well.

Anything we should do besides report it here?
