The current version doesn't seem to indicate whether the project or context has action items assigned to them (e.g., boldface or actual numbers). It would be great if I can tell by looking at the list, which projects/contexts have action items assigned.

Oooh, seconded. This would be very, very useful. Like the view of the number of unread messages in Mail.app.
