Search only works for the titles. Is it possible to search in the Note field as well?

Never been supported for the iOS devices. Use the Send Feedback button on the settings page to add a feature request to the pile.

It's conceivable that they've actually prototyped this feature and deemed the performance unacceptable on older hardware.
