2x Quick entry buttons in Forecast view

Hi

Noticed that the Quick Entry and the Plus symbol at the bottom of the Forecast view seem to do the same thing.

Am I missing something here?

If you use the plus symbol the due date is set. Notice you can't use the plus on "past" or "future".
