No sidebar = empty sidebar

Testing v162 r198106 ... when I select View:Hide Sidebar, the contents of the sidebar disappear, but the empty space which displayed those contents remains.

How can I get OO4 to hide the sidebar space?

There is still significant work being done on the sidebar and this is one of the bugs we still have left to fix.
